An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
PERMIT TO WORK (PTW) COORDINATOR – KOREA - $$ ATTRACTIVE – 12 MONTHS CONTRACT - LONGER TERM PROJECT

We are now seeking a Permit to work Coordinator to coordinate and manage, during the commissioning phase of the project, manage the relevant work permits and certificates necessary to operate in controlled areas and ensure that the permits have all the required documentation and certification and that the necessary risk assessments have been performed.

The job:
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the commissioning PTW system during the construction and commissioning phase of the project.
• Ensure that all Company and Contractor personnel are in compliance with all Gorgon project processes, especially PTW, Risk Management, Safe Work Practices and isolation LOTO.
• Perform scheduled permit audits to ensure compliance to the permit conditions and competence of the permit participants.
• Ensure that environmental and quarantine aspects of all the activities undertaken are addressed within the PTW system.
• Be consistent in the application and continuously seek improvement of the PTW system.
• Be the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PTW and knowledgeable regarding Isolation, Gas Testing, Confined Space Entry.
• Commits to and champions developing and implementing ways to ensure a safe work place and the ongoing efforts to establish and maintain an incident and injury free culture.

Essential requirements of this role:
• Previous experience in a PTW coordinator role either in a construction or operations environment,
• Recognised qualifications or training completed in PTW, Isolations, Confined Space Entry,
• Be able to read and understand construction drawings, P&IDs and procedures,
• Must demonstrate a strong safety culture,
• Strong English & interpersonal skills – written (documents) and verbal
• Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel,

This role is open to individuals with a current Korean working visa. In return you will be rewarded with a challenging yet rewarding scope of work with an attractive hourly contract rate.
