The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in one of the world's largest LNG developments based in Australia, as well as other energy and resource projects.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Permit to work coordinator to manage relevant work permits and certificates.
Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensure all company and contractor personnel are in compliance with all processes (especially PTW, Risk Management, Safe Work Practices and Isolation LOTO).
• Be an active champion of 'Hierarchy of Control' risk principals in the review of intended permit and project work.
• Local Subject Matter Expert for PTW and knowledge regarding Isolation, Gas Testing, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
• Ensure compliance by Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management
• Ensure Environmental aspects of all activities undertaken are addressed within the PTW system.
• Comply with and enforce all company policies to ensure that individuals follow policies and procedures.
• Be consistent in the application and improvement of the Permit system within the Development project.
• Regularly conduct permit audits to ensure compliance to the permit conditions and competence of the permit participants

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional groups.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an Operations/Construction PTW role preferable, but not essential.
• Engineering or trade qualifications are desirable but not essential.
