The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
Qualifications -
Minimum NEBOSH General Cert, ( or NEBOSH Construction Cert)
Ideally at least HNC in engineering or science. Associate member of a relevant professional body.

Essential/Ideal experience -

Process Chemical or Manufacturing background.
Operational, overhaul/shutdown, commissioning experience in a process chemical/manufacturing environment.
Construction and Commissioning Safety management experience (preferable on major projects)
Work Permit Coordination/issuing - has undertaken a hands-on role of implementing and controlling Permit systems for construction and commissioning activities
Behavioural Safety experience in developing and running programmes.
Devising and delivering SHE training.
Operational experience of construction environmental and waste management systems.

Additional but not essential experience/info -

Knowledge of BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology)
Able to work as part of a small multi disciplined team.
Mechanical or Electrical background would be beneficial.
