The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
To provide PTW Competancy assurance and training to the Production department that is effective and suitable to support business activities and company objectives.

Job Content:

- Develop PTW training programmes to address project workforce competance requirements.
- Implement training programmes to address closing of identified gaps.
- If required deliver other HSE related training programmes.
- Maintain trainee records.
- Liaise with Line supervision to idintify development plans for the workforce.
- Liaise with Development Coordinators to develop programmes for line staff.
- Liaise with the Line to identify improvements and defects in asset equipment.
- Input into the Integrated Activity Plan.
- Ensure the equipment and systems for which you have responsibility are fit for purpose and instigate corrective action as required.
- Submit required reports in a timely manner.
- Perform emergency response tasks as required.
- Work within operations budget.

- Conduct on the job training and mentoring of local national discipline staff in the safe and efficient operation of the project production assets
- Conduct local national staff assessments and have an input into Mentee training records
- Maintain a flexible and positive attitude especially with regard to the difficult working environment and highly focussed safety and security procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Fluent in Arabic & English
- Relevant NEBOSH Diploma plus 5 years in training development & delivery OR minimum 15 years HSE experience in oil and gas of which 5 years must be as a trainer
- Mentoring/coaching experience.
- Recognised assessor qualification (D31/32 or A1) preferred.
