The Company:
A Major Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
- To coordinate the interfaces between the EPSCC1 package and the Company Permitting Department.
- To ensure that these activities are performed in accordance with the local regulation, Company Rules, Procedures and Permitting Register using best work practices.

- To prepare, issue, and if necessary update the Permitting Interface Management Procedure for the EPSCC1 package.
- To organize regular meetings with the Contractor and Company permitting personnel to verify the status of permitting deliverable and coordination.
- To assess the corrective measures the Contractor intends to take in case of difficulties.
- To ensure that the Contractor prepares the design, planning, scheduling or other work required to further the resolution of permitting interface matters.
- To channel contacts between Company permitting direction and EPSCC1 Package.
- To monitor the handover of documentation between parties at interface.
- To report to management on permitting matters and any related problems.
- To ensure that the Company rules and directives are observed.
- To promote all actions in order to reach suitable Safety & Environmental performances during the EPSCC1 contract execution.

- Tempa Rossa Project covers the development of an onshore hydrocarbon field located in Basilicata Region in Southern Italy at about 200km South-East of Naples., in a mountainous environment (municipality of Corleto Perticara)
- EPSCC1 contract includes the design & construction of an Oil Centre for crude oil stabilisation, gas and LPG treatment, LPG centre and 6 well sites.
- This position will be base in Rome until the Contract Award (planned for Dec 2011) then the candidate will be relocated to contractor offices in Italy during the details engineering for approximately 2.5 years. During the construction, the position will be transferred to the site (Q2 – 2014)
- Demobilisation is envisioned for Q3 2015.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Graduate construction engineer with a good level of technical understanding in all disciplines.
- Extensive experience with large Oil & Gas projects in permitting positions.
- Good understanding of contractual relationships between Project, Contractor & the Interfacing parties.
- Fluent in English & Italian.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Italian permitting experience would be advantageous.
