The Role:
As a executive Personal Assistant (maternity cover) you will perform full clerical, administrative and general office duties of a responsible and highly confidential nature in support of the SVP UK& NL for Centrica Energy Exploration & Production.

This role requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the great frequency of senior level internal and external contacts and regular exposure to confidential data. This is a fast paced role with high volumes of work.

-Diary management, co-ordinating arrangements for meetings and where applicable conferences
-Co-ordinating and booking travel arrangements and planning itineraries as required for UK & NL leadership team
-Communicates manager’s instructions or requests to various individuals and / or departments and furnishes and obtains information from other managers
-Organises and maintains files of supervisor’s correspondence and records following up on any pending matters
-Responds to routine requests for information and refers more complex requests as appropriate
-Screens telephone calls, emails and / or visitors
-Sends out routine letters and emails and drafts more complex correspondence for principals’ final approval
-Assembles relevant data and compiles information as directed
-Answers routine questions and responds to correspondence
-Organises and expedites flow of work, initiating follow up action where appropriate
-Attend meetings and take minutes as required
-Order and arrange payment of a variety of goods and services required by the relevant managers
-Organises and prepares complex documents requiring the integration of multiple office technology and software applications
-Raising requisitions in SAP as required
-Processing expenses
-Organise team meetings and Town Halls

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge and Qualifications:

-Vocational and GCSEs equivalent
-Oil and gas experience

Essential Skills:

-Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information
-Ability to manage and cope with high volumes of work under pressure
-Produces documents and presentations to Executive meeting standards
-Organises conferences as required by role
-Composes letters to a high standard
-Arranges and makes decisions regarding complex travel itineraries
-Provides effective and efficient administrative service
-Maintains and monitors departmental budgets ensuring prompt and accurate payment of invoices and expenses
-Takes responsibility for project co-ordination within agreed timelines
-Ensures Director's / Managers phone is covered at all times
-Shares company knowledge and procedures to help others achieve their objectives
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office SAP
-Experience attention to detail
-Ability to work to strict deadlines
