The Company:
Our client is a leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry worldwide, currently engaged in some of the worlds most technically advanced and high profile projects.

The Role:
The Personnel Logistic Coordinator is expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within the clients worksite and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

HSEQ ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Promote positive HSE behaviours, setting the tone and leading by example. Take action upon any health, safety and environmental matter brought to their notice, and report to their Manager on any matter which they are unable to rectify.
· Maintain responsibility and accountability for HSE.
· Consider health, safety and environmental performance during appraisals and assessments. Set HSE Objectives.
· Maintain awareness of activities, interfaces and the associated risks.
· Conform with the emergency procedures applicable to their place of work.
· Facilitate effective two-way communication on HSE issues. Attend HSE Meetings.
· Remain aware of the relevant HSE legislation.
· Ensure all safety devices provided are utilised and maintained, protective equipment is worn, safety rules are observed and safe working practices applied. Ensure correct equipment usage, inspection and effective maintenance.
· Report and investigate all accidents and dangerous occurrences, including environmental incidents in the area of responsibility.
· Communicate HSE report and audit information to staff.


Position Description:

· Responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate delivery of Personnel / Logistics service to customers within area of responsibility
· The position includes coordinating logistics staff for all construction boats / barges coming from and / or waiting in Takoradi or working in Ghana.
· Being a focal point for projects, AFGOM region and all other regions of the client sending marine vessels operating staff for projects.
· The Personnel Logistic Coordinator is the point of contact in Takoradi with regards to all personnel movements:
ü Crew changes for operations managers, ship operations managers and ship construction and barges crewing team.
ü logistics of all the clients staff (AFGOM Projects & functions), service providers included
ü Logistics of all staff based in Takoradi.
· Organizes and coordinates all vessels crew changes
· Provide required information to OPL Aberdeen, Suresnes, Stavanger, Sharjah and administrators on ships and barges as needed.

OPERATIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Liaise with other organizations in AFGOM region and implement the logistics personnel tracking for boats and construction barges operating in AFGOM region.
· Centralize travel schedules and welcome packs sent by the different AFGOM offices, and give daily instructions to our support agent about following activities: Meet & Greet, domestic flight booking request & forecast
· Prepare/issue related work order to our agent
· Give instructions to the driver and / or subcontractors for any operation required for project
· Coordinate the transfer of personnel from / to earth to / from airports
· Coordinate the transfer of personnel from / to ships or barges at sea through the bus and crew boat (surfers).
· Ensure that all necessary documents such as the letter of invitation, the order of the mission, and other electronic ticket are sent to our support agent to allow him to manage check in and out smoothly.
· Track passport when required
· Monitor and report to management all costs connected with logistical personnel (accommodation, meals, expenses etc.)
· Management of unusual requests (charter)

AUTHORITY/DIMENSIONS

· Ensure that applications and / or purchase orders are issued as directed by project managers and / or operations or Resident Manager or SCM managers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CAPABILITY PROFILE – KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS
· University education first cycle usually commercial or technical
· Perfect organization of its workload including anticipation and reactivity
· A good experience of logistics
Knowledge of standard IT tools (Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
