The Company:
A Major International Operating Company is looking for Petroleum Engineers to work on their Global operations.

The Role:
As part of a fully integrated multi-discipline team the Petroleum Engineers will be responsible for supporting operational base management activities, including system optimisation, surveillance and well management. The Petroleum Engineers will use state-of-the art tools, methodologies and technologies and may also work within the operational Advanced Collaboration Environments (ACE).

The roles will involve:

- Acting as the lynchpin between the subsurface and the production teams.
- Issuing regular well operating guidelines and support daily production and injection optimisation.
- Supporting the definition and execution of new well start-up procedures.
- Using Integrated Asset Models to optimize system production.
- Participating in monthly Installed Production Capacity discussions, providing input through the Production Forecasting and IPC setting process.
- Providing reservoir and wells input to the weekly production meeting.
- Assessing reservoir and well performance and identify performance deviations, production improvement options and additional surveillance needs.
- Working with the site teams to execute, validate and interpret surveillance data.
- Participating in regular well panel and Production Technical Limits reviews.
- Working closely with the Operations and Well Services teams to plan, schedule & execute screened well interventions
- Participating in asset loss review meetings.
- Being Accountable for the daily allocation of production to individual wells and input to the Hydrocarbon Volume Reporting system
- Supporting the Operations Efficiency Technology plan.
- Travelling to site on an infrequent basis to support operational work.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Relevant Petroleum Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Understanding of the principles of field optimisation, development and depletion planning.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of base management, including the application of flow assurance techniques.
- Experience of well inflow performance analysis and nodal analysis of integrated production systems.
- Experience of waterflood management and optimisation.
- Experience of production allocation to wells.
- Experience of setting of surveillance plans.
- Experience of well intervention.
- Experience of decline curve analysis.
- Experience of production forecasting.
- Experience of pressure transient analysis.
- Experience of gas well performance analysis.
