The Company:
Our Company are a new independent oil operator in the North Sea with a dynamic management team who have exciting growth plans to develop operations further in the UKCS. Working within a multi-disciplinary team and reporting to the Subsurface Team Leader, this role will have responsibility for the provision of petroleum engineering expertise in support of production from producing fields. The Role:
• Develop, own and maintain the Life of Field Asset Plan and deliver the Annual Business Plan and Annual Area Objectives
• Work with subsurface and operations teams to ensure production from producing fields are optimized.
• Maintain an up to date inventory of production enhancement opportunities in existing wells.
• Identify and justify value adding operations in existing wells, e.g. well interventions, work-over’s.
• Build, maintain and use appropriate petroleum engineering tools, e.g. multiphase flow models.
• Work with subsurface and drilling teams to optimise completion design for new wells and work-over’s.
• Be responsible for management of production data, identifying, justifying and implementing improvements.
• Interface with operations personnel, to ensure subsurface requirements are delivered, e.g. during well operations.
• Maintain current working knowledge of petroleum engineering technology.
• Collaborate with other staff and management, on acquisition and utilisation of petroleum engineering hardware and software and special projects .
• Interact with industry through personal contacts, trade shows, seminars and conventions.
• Some occasional offshore trips may be required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified – with a relevant degree
• Petroleum Engineering degree would be advantageous
• Offshore Survival and medical certification

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrable experience in UKCS producing fields in a Petroleum Engineering capacity experience of infill drilling campaigns on mature fields
• Working knowledge of petroleum geology, petrophysics and reservoir engineering techniques is essential, as the position involves work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience of working offshore in a Petroleum engineering capacity
