The Role:
 Develop, own and maintain production and well aspects of the Life of Field Plan and deliver the Annual Business plan.
 Responsible for optimising production from the companys producing fields, working closely with subsurface and operations teams.
 Identify and justify value adding operations in existing wells, e.g. well interventions, stimulations and workovers.
 Seek out, evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to enhance well and field performance.
 Identify appropriate well testing philosophy
 Interface with operations personnel, to ensure requirements are delivered during well operations.
 Work with subsurface and drilling teams to optimise completion design for new wells and workovers.
 Maintain an up to date inventory of production enhancement opportunities in existing wells.
 Be responsible for management of production data, identifying, justifying and implementing improvements.
 Build, maintain and use appropriate petroleum engineering tools, e.g. multiphase flow models.
 Collaborate with other company staff and management, on acquisition and utilisation of petroleum engineering hardware and software and special projects.
 Enhance Petroleum Engineering skills. Interact with industry through personal contacts, trade shows, seminars and conventions.
 Participate in peer assists and peer reviews and seek input from others to ensure technical high quality is achieved in evaluations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Demonstrate a current and practical knowledge of all aspects of petroleum engineering
 Sound understanding of model building workflows
 Able to work in challenging environments and produce quality output with minimal supervision
 Demonstrable experience in UKCS producing fields in a Petroleum Engineering capacity Experience of infill drilling campaigns on mature fields
 Working knowledge of petroleum geology, petrophysics and reservoir engineering techniques is essential, as the position involves work within a multidisciplinary team.
 Experience of working offshore in a Petroleum engineering capacity
 Degree qualified – with a relevant degree
 Able to demonstrate an aptitude for learning and continuous personal and professional development

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Experience with petroleum engineering applications (Petroleum Experts Suite)
 Basic understanding of Production Chemistry issues that affect production.
 Petroleum Engineering degree would be advantageous
 Offshore Survival and medical certification
