The Role:
Manage well deliverability to ensure production requirements are met by supervising well performance monitoring and data gathering, assessing the well’s performance, and proposing solutions to enhance productivity.
Ensure adequate well start-up and shut-down procedures are prepared and followed.
Ensure our monitoring files are up to date with the latest parameters.
Provide metering dept with monthly “Field potentials” (production forecasts based on expected well status and flowing parameters)
Plan and implement down hole pressure surveillance program (DH gauge or Echometer). Analyse static surveys, carry out echometer surveys (off-shore), perform the analysis and maintain the Reservoir Pressure data base up to date.
Perform Material Balance analysis (P/z files) and history matching to provide short and long term forecast + reserves estimation
Knowledge in Gas Petroleum Engineering (PVT, IPR, VLP…) and well testing
Provide support to Reservoir Engineer for Field Development studies.
Implement small well projects (injection tests, light workovers, foaming campaign organisation, …) + liaise with well services Supervisor and well project supervisor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
MSc in Engineering
At least 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry
Field experience needed, gas & offshore ideally
Good mathematical and scientific skills
Familiar with IPM software (OFM, MBAL, PROSPER, GAP)
Familiar with Well Testing software (Saphir)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Positive, proactive, down to earth, looking for a solution attitude
Very organised and good at routine daily monitoring
Ability to adapt and learn quickly
Team player, with good communication and reporting
