The Company:
Our client is a leading Global Oil and Gas Operating Company.

The Role:
Company is seeking a Petroleum Engineer, Level I - IV. This position is based in Anchorage, AK. The duration of the position is 3+ months with long term potential.
The role and responsibilities are as follows:

- Provide technical engineering oversight and support to all phases of oil and/or gas development projects.

- Support the operations & production team and proactively work to optimize the reservoir performance and recovery.

- Ensure delivery of long term production forecast and resource to reserves movement in line with strategic development plans.

- Advise on petroleum technical and subsurface issues in project development and business development.

- Ensure that appropriate work plans, budgets & resource plans are in place and are appropriately executed.

- Identify technology development needs in subsurface activities and implement programs for development.

- Work with vendors and service companies in technology development and implementation.

- Champion the reservoir management process and ensure consistent application of engineering analysis & best practices.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requires BSE in Petroleum Engineering and 8+ years experience in reservoir or production engineering.
