The Role:
• Coordination of (re-)development activities from appraisal (TG 0) to define state (TG 2) in related region
• Ensure proper involvement of G&G, reservoir and production engineering disciplines in producing assets
• Coordination of petroleum engineering work between branch offices and head office functions
• Actively support pushing opportunities through the development funnel
• Deputy to Head of Department PE REG-MEC
• To take over of discoveries from exploration and progress them through the development funnel
• To ensure (re-)development activities are properly defined; scope of work/interfaces are clear
• To support establishment of properly staffed integrated project teams
• To monitor progress of (re-) development projects
• To actively establish and maintain communication with branch offices and head office functions
• To forward information from branch offices to centers of excellence and vice versa
• To assure opportunities identified in the portfolio group are pushed forward to development
• To review work programs/plans and ensure adherence to rules and standards
• To ensure common PE practices and procedures are applied in region
• To initiate and participate in peer reviews and tollgates
• To actively participate in strategic planning process
Qualifications / profile
• University degree Master / Diploma in Petroleum Engineering
• Relevant professional experience > 10 years
• Fluent command of English language
• Proven track record of effective reservoir management practices
• Experience in project management and branch office coordination
