The Company:
A Major Operator

The Role:
Focal point for Techlog. Help, mentor and guide users in Techlog. Responsible for testing new versions and its implementations.
Do occasional lunch and learns across the office and across BU for knowledge sharing. Responsible for MOH and SLB communication, new hire trainings, software bug reporting and enhancements of new features as per company’s requirements.
•Experience in the use of rock typing and its integration into petrophysical interpretations (Neural Network - IPSOM).
• Operational experience in open hole logging measurements in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, wells drilled with water/oil base mud systems. Involved with MOH partners in logging programs, data analysis and quick look Interpretations. Final formation evaluation, integrating with other disciplines and presenting results to management.
• Familiar with Petroleum System and Exploration Risk Assessment.
• Familiar with image log interpretations, processing and its integration.
•Help organize data migration and implementation framework
•Training and script assessment – what does Techlog provide in its base functionality that might require customized coding in the other application, and then show staff how to do this;
•Data set-up, pre-migration (translate data from current app to Techlog)
QC of migrated data
•Validation – help migrated staff confirm the functionality and data are there.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
15+ years of experience M.S preferred
Techlog proficiency
