The Company:
A leading operator with a truly global presence, is seeking a Petrophysicist to join an already well established Petrophysics team

The Role:
Demonstrable experience and understanding of the use of petrophysics within the four areas of operations management, formation evaluation, field development de-risking (e.g. geomechanics, hydraulic stimulation, rock physics modelling) and reservoir surveillance.
Demonstrable understanding of how the work of the petrophysicist integrates with the work of other subsurface disciplines and Well Engineering.
Strong academic background with a degree in physical or earth sciences.
Experience of exploration, appraisal and development of conventional and unconventional formations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good problem solving abilities and a good eye for detail.
Excellent team working skills, as well as an ability to interface effectively with other subsurface disciplines and external contractors.
Be able to present and report their work in a clear and timely manner, to a variety of stakeholders - not all of whom will be familiar with petrophysics.
Be able to produce work of a high standard, generating holistic and technically sound petrophysical interpretations whilst under time-pressure, that can be defended in peer reviews, and to partners and external auditors.
