The Role:
• Perform work and interface with both onshore & offshore teams with respect, integrity & diversity
• Provide real time analysis and in depth petrophysical support to Operated and Non-Operated Joint Venture assets.
• Use formation evaluation programs, such as GEOLOG, to perform a wide spectrum of petrophysical analyses such as deterministic procedures,
• Help prepare and review logging programs for operated and partner-operated exploration, appraisal and development wells.
• Provide technical support for Wireline and LWD data acquisition and well-site operations as required.
• Supply petrophysical parameters for static/dynamic models. Assist earth scientists and reservoir engineers in populating reservoir models with petrophysical parameters.
• For non-operated assets, review Operators parameters and if necessary influence the procedure to develop petrophysical parameters and the subsequent population of earth models.
• Provide technical guidance in developing routine and special core analysis work programmes. QC and fully integrate the resulting data in constructing a petrophysical model.
• Integrate formation evaluation results with other key disciplines (geophysics, stratigraphy, geologic modelling, reservoir engineering, rock mechanics etc.)
• Participate in peer reviews and petrophysical network activities to share, adopt & disseminate best practices integrating new technology as appropriate.
• Generate interpretation reports, covering methodology, results, observations and insights.
• Contract owner responsibilities involving re-negotiation and initiation.
• Mentor graduate earth scientists and engineers
• Effectively leverage experience and knowledge from subsurface teams,
• Interface with contractors supplying data and ensure current knowledge of their rapidly developing technology.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) required in an Engineering or Science discipline
• Relevant Masters degree would be advantageous
• Previous relevant experience working within an Operator, major contractor or consultancy likely gained over a period of 5 - 10 years
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to influence and engage at all levels.
• Team Player who can work and communicate in a tactful and effective manner with Joint Venture Partners
• Ability to work and operate with minimal technical guidance
• Proven ability to establish relationships and credibility with operators and other partners
• Self motivated and able to work in a multidisciplined team environment.
• Exhibit willingness to learn new skills and transfer knowledge to others.
• Demonstrate capability to handle complex and concurrent projects, multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
