The Role:
To provide the following high quality Physical Records services to a large Exploration & Production company:
Scanning and reproduction service including A3/A4 and large format (equipment example OCE TCS400).
Provide paper-to-digital images of documents, schematics and records for storage in appropriate data repository.
Perform initial quality control inspection of work prior to signing off with the customer.
Produce scanned images to the DECC, CDA, Standard 6 the oil industry scanning standard for UK data.
Cataloguing of scanned images into eSearch (or other appropriate) databases.
Full distribution, monitoring and control of physical records for archive and retrieval.
Ensure each container has an appropriate barcode and contents are validated prior to archiving.
Track orders, location and contents on eSearch.
Ship and retrieve containers to/from off-site storage location.
Quality management of Physical Records Service.
Track all job requests from the customer.
Update eSearch database with any changes to location, contents or status of containers.
Assist in the production of monthly metrics on scanning, coding and archive/retrieval.
Adherence to safe working practices.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Some experience of scanning and reproduction including large format scanning.
Basic understanding of physical records management and archiving process.
Accuracy and attention to quality with excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of eSearch, LiveLink and/or Sharepoint would be advantageous.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organisation.
Commitment to company’s core values; candidate must be ethical and adhere to safety policies.
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Acrobat Professional.
The successful candidate must possess the desire to work hard and produce high quality work.
