The Company:
Our client, a major international Engineering, Procurement & Construction company, requires expertise for their ongoing mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
Should be well conversant with all aspects of piping design and piping engineering. Ability to work from first principles through to working out solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills as client interaction at a senior level is required for this role.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and an APEGGA registration.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum ten years in pipe and pipeline stress analysis, on piping related to Oil Sands and/or Hydrocarbon projects. Experience as a Lead in EPCM company is preferred, as well as knowledge with the following software packages: Caesar, Fe Pipe, Nozzle Pro and MS Excel.
