The Role:
Key Skills
Extensive hands-on operational and maintenance experience in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe extrusion & injection molding for fittings
Ability to interpret and apply material characteristic data (physical, chemical, thermal, rheological & mechanical) as it pertains to HDPE pipe extrusion
Extensive knowledge of pipe testing standards including type testing and water and gas quality regulations and practical hands-on experience of polyolefin pipe testing including hydrostatic pressure testing, resistance slow crack growth and resistance to rapid crack propagation
Ability and experience in HDPE pipe welding and jointing including methods for assessment of quality and providing related training
Project recourses planning, management and project tracking techniques

Job Details
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the technical services requests for qualification and validation of plastic pipes are carried out in accordance with ISO and ASTM standards. Conduct in-house prequalification and validation of HDPE materials and coordinate all activities concerning the certification of HDPE materials and product from third party laboratories. Lead the investigations into material and pipe failure analysis in resolving customer complaints. Develop/improve pipe grades and processing technologies and test methods. Prepare and deliver technical courses pertaining to the HDPE pipe manufacturing, qualification and installations.
