The Company:
Our client, a major international Engineering, Procurement & Construction company, requires expertise for their ongoing mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The Boil maker will have the responsibility:

Determine the type of work to be carried out and the necessary resources to do the job (plans, estimates, etc.);
Prepare the necessary parts for the work at hand (equipment repair, installation or maintenance);
Build and install boilers according to the information supplied;
Adjust and weld metallic parts to make tanks, boilers and other related pieces of equipment;
Carry out cutting, drilling, welding, grinding and expanding tasks;

The Pipefitter will have the responsibility:

Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping systems by measuring, cutting, threading, grinding and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
Read and interpret drawings, blue prints and specifications to determine layout requirements.
Assemble and install pipes, valves and fittings according to blue prints and job specifications
Plan and conduct pressure tests as required by code and or specifications
Calculate weights of materials and or spools to ensure proper equipment is used.
Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
Identify piping materials by grade and or description.
