The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
The Pipeline & Diving Engineer will provide input to all Project installation, construction and marine procedural and operational activities in relation to Project Surveys, Pipelines and Diving.

•Liaise with Client , EPC Contractor engineering teams in Staines, Aberdeen and Leatherhead for Export Pipelines, Rigid Risers and Diving installation matters and provide specialist input on constructability proposals.
•Review pipeline and diving engineering deliverables prepared by EPC Contractors.
•Organise interface meetings as required between Client, EPC Contractors.
•Liaise with Client Survey concerning project requirements for pipeline route surveys, riser positioning surveys and review survey results.
•Assist with preparation and compilation of technical documentation for selection of installation contractor for pipelay and diving activities.
•Review and approval of pipeline and diving engineering output from installation contractor, including design and procedures.
•Ensure that Company and Contractor implements project goals in respect of HS&E, QA, Schedule, and Technical Integrity, including participation in regular audit activities.
•Commit project and installation contractor management teams to establish project strategies, philosophies and procedures to successfully execute the construction activities ensuring that Client corporate guidelines and project HS&E policies are reflected and complied with at all times.
•Input into the Scope of Work Changes and Project Schedules as required.
•Participate in project Risk analysis, HAZID/HAZOP activities.
•Ensure that lessons learnt from previous projects are appropriately considered in the construction engineering and installation phases, and disseminated for current projects.
•Resolve construction design issues with installation contractor.
•Provide assistance to the Marine Construction Manager as required, including identification and resolution of potential problem areas in pipeline installation and diving, including tie-ins

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A minimum of 10 year’s experience in the management / engineering of offshore pipeline installation and subsea diving works
•Relevant degree qualified
•Up to date offshore survival and certification documents

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Skill Requirements /Personal Attributes:
•Familiar with Operator health, safety, environmental, security and quality issues.
•Familiar with dealing with various nationalities and cultures
•Capable of identifying problem areas early and proactively resolving issues
•Positive approach and self starter
•Computer literate
•Good communicator. Both written and oral.
•Tactful and persuasive, a Team Player
