The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with extensive operations in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
- Supports quantity surveying and contract administration activities associated with the Pipeline Construction Contract.
- Review Contractor’s procedures and establish acceptable practices for measuring Contractor’s performance on all contractual and commercial related activities.
- Lead and supervise the in-field Contracts team in the monitoring, auditing & assurance of Contractor’s site activities.
- Act as Company site representative for all construction-related contractual related activities, within delegated authority from the Pipeline Contracts Lead.
- Site checking of construction progress of temporary and permanent construction activities.
- Provide interface support to the Contract planning and progress reporting process.
- Preparation of estimates for internal purposes.
- Liaise with and support Contract Supplier Performance Leaders, Technical Specialists and delivery team leads regarding all contract matters.
- Liaise with Project Services personnel and to ensure coordinated approach and consistency between cost reporting and actual quantities executed.

The role is camp/site based on a 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•- Quantity Surveyor or similar construction type qualification considered.
•- At least 10 years’ experience of high value international projects (USD 1 Billion +)
•- At least 10 years pipeline construction experience, with demonstrable contracts supervision qualities involving multi-discipline teams, and preferably including:
(a) work in a foreign language environment.
(b) Client representative roles.
- Computer literate in MS Office applications. Working knowledge of Primavera and TILOS an advantage.
•- Demonstrable appreciation and resolution of contractual issues including EoT & L&E claims and acceleration claims.
•- Ability to work as part of a small integrated team in remote location(s).
