The Company:
Our client is one of Australia's largest exploration and production companies and a key energy provider in both the domestic and international marketplace. They have significant interests in offshore exploration, coal seam gas and renewable energy with a major commitment to safety, quality, and environmental issues.

The Role:
As a key member of a stand alone Asset Integrity Project team, you will ultimately be responsible to the Project Manager for providing engineering expertise for the review, analysis, establishment and ongoing support of the Pipeline (HDPE) Maintenance Plan. In this role your specific focus will be on gap analysis for the safety management plan.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:-
• Review, analysis and updating of the current technical solutions and documentation, and the consequent implementation in the field.
• Compiling a gap analysis of the current maintenance plan relating to polyethylene pipelines(HDPE).
• Compiling a gap analysis of the current safety management studies.
• Provide support to the field based Pipeline Engineering Team in reference to issues concerning Pipeline Maintenance strategies and procedures.

Please note that candidates who have experience and knowledge in the following areas will be highly regarded:- development of maintenance plans, compliance of pipeline standards and regulatory obligations and an understanding of scope relating to emergency response protocol.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
• Intermediate to high level of industry experience relevant to HDPE Pipeline and CSG industries.
• Previous experience and knowledge of Pipeline Asset Integrity procedures and practices.
• Thorough understanding of AS2885 and APIA.
• The ability to positively build and influence relationships with internal contacts in particular the Field Engineering Teams.
• In depth analytical ability and documentation management skills.
