The Company:
Our Client a global operator has a fantastic opportunity for a member of staff to join their growing team

The Role:
The Midstream Pipelines Team operates and maintains three of the UK’s major oil and gas pipeline systems

The role includes maintaining the overall integrity of the pipeline infrastructure. It also includes leading/supporting the delivery of projects and activities associated with the pipelines.

Provide general oversight on all aspects of technical support for the operating pipeline systems.
Provide technical leadership, support and guidance in relation to the ongoing maintenance of the pipeline systems
Owner and single point accountability for the development and maintenance of the pipeline integrity management systems for the pipeline infrastructure.
Providing oversight of project design, implementation and documentation of pipeline projects.
Act as accountable person for the delivery of specific pipeline projects, such as intelligence pigging programmes, landline excavations and digs, pipeline valve change-outs, etc.
Manage third party pipeline engineering consultants and contractors in support of business development activities.
Coordinating project and integrity activities with the planning function.
Develop and maintain a pipeline response scheme capability, including both pipeline intervention and repair capability.
Developing and maintaining records and a documentation system in support of pipeline assurance, compliance and integrity.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive Pipeline experience in design and supporting operations/ integrity
Willingness and ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
Good understanding of corrosion mechanisms and pipeline inspection techniques internal and external / land and subsea.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Pipeline integrity management and compliance.
Knowledge of Pipeline regulatory matters.
Vendor management skills and experience.
Proven leadership skills and experience.
