The Company:
Our client is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies conducting business in countries all around the globe. They are engaged in every aspect of the crude oil & natural gas industry, including exploration & production, manufacturing, marketing & transportation, chemicals manufacturing & sales, geothermal, power generation, renewables & advanced technologies.

The Role:
In this role you’ll contribute to managing the technical integrity of about 3500 km pipelines both onshore and offshore. Responsibilities will include:
• Providing maintenance and inspection plans to assure the technical integrity of the pipelines within defined scope and budget, focused on realising asset specific HSE, integrity, costs and availability performance.
• Developing and implementing best practice inspection, monitoring and emergency response systems, amongst others including leak detection, intelligent pig inspection, sonar inspection and ROV inspection.
• Advising on matters of specification, design, selection, procurement, application and maintenance and identifying/recognizing potential hazards in own discipline and proposing/implementing solutions to eliminate/minimise risks.
• Managing engineering modifications and projects to the pipeline system.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
With a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. pipeline engineering, subsea engineering or mechanical engineering), you’ll have experience in pipeline engineering and/or pipeline integrity management and execution. We’ll also expect you to:
• Have knowledge of standards and laws applicable to engineering, construction and maintenance of pipelines.
• Having knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines would be an advantage: Subsea Engineering, Materials & Corrosion Engineering, Inspection, Operations.
• Possess highly effective team building and communication skills.
• Exhibit a strong cross-discipline approach by which all parties are supported and driven to work together seamlessly to deliver optimal solutions.
