The Company:
An established oil and gas exploration and production

The Role:
Purpose:
To provide specialist pipeline engineering Input into the conceptual, front end and/or detailed engineering design of offshore and onshore field development projects. To ensure that contractor pipeline design and specifications meet project requirements and Industry best practice

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Underwater pipeline and riser system compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices
• To define design premises of offshore and onshore pipelines (structural and Flow assurance)
• To define and specify geotechnical and geophysical surveys
• To define pipeline route
• To analyze all aspects related to pipeline stability and installability
• To prepare pipeline specifications, pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
• To Implement and utilize a robust checking procedure to meet quality assurance requirements.
• Internal design and subcontracted design supervision
• Material selection and specification
• ITT preparation and bid technical evaluation
• Planning, review and follow-up for purchasing, construction and commissioning
• Estimating pipeline cost and schedule

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering
• Fluent in English
• 2.5 years as structural design and FEM engineer
• 10 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience
• 7 years of pipeline design experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Specialist Knowledge: Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
• Organization Processes: Internal Standard, Suppliers qualification and techniques, feed­ back development and diffusion, Technical audit and Design review, Work team management methodology, Site Materials and equipment organization, Project Procurement Management, Contracting Strategy, Contract Management
• Compliance: Local I National and International Standard and Codes, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Tender procedure
• Construction and Installation: Inspection, Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Control System Knowledge, Inspection, control and testing techniques
• Project Management: Preparation of Development Program and Budget, Data Books, Operation and Decommissioning Manual, Close out Report Preparation
