The Role:
The Pipeline Engineer will be accountable for the timely delivery of workscopes and to ensure their satisfactory execution for pipelines as defined in the Pipeline Safety Regulations. The aim for the Pipeline Integrity Engineer is the continued integrity of pipelines together with a well maintained RBI programme.

•Work towards the Asset Integrity Team and Corporate Goals.
•To ensure the Pipelines Integrity Management system(PIMS) is implemented and maintained
•Work with the Topside integrity team and subsea inspection coordinator to prepare workscopes for pipeline inspection &shutdown dependant activities and ensure their inclusion onthe integrated plan.
•Work with the Integrity Team & Fabric Maintenance Coordinator to plan & implement any remedial blasting/re-coating as required for inspection and defect elimination.
•Maintain all pipeline required regulatory documentation(PIMS, MAPD, Pipeline Risk Assessments, etc.)
•Responsible for carrying out Fitness For Service (FFS)assessments of anomalies and coordinating 3rd party assessments as necessary.

Continuous programme Review & Improvement
•Responsible for the review and analysis of completed reports, workpacks and pipeline anomalies.
•Discuss findings with Corrosion and Materials Specialist to ensure corrosion risks are adequately identified and managed, incorporate any recommendations into the Pipelines Integrity Management System for building into future inspection workpacks.
•Working with the Topsides Integrity Team populate the maintenance management system (SAP) with correct functional locations & maintenance plans - ensure that changes to the programme are managed.
•Responsible for annual update of RBI programme
•Ensure any deferral or impairment of Asset Integrity SCE work has the appropriate risk assessment attached.

Budget & Contractual
•Contribute to the annual preparation of the Asset Integrity Team budget.
•Assist the AIS as required to control, forecast and work within the budget.
Reporting & Other Responsibilities
•Working with the Integrity Team to prepare monthly and annual asset integrity reports.
•Provide support during liaison with HSE and ICP
•Member of the Asset Integrity Corrosion Management(AICM) Team.
•Ensure timely closure of all assigned actions e.g. IMPACT,ICP, HSE/Corporate Audit, etc.
•Arrange/attend meetings as necessary with DECC, HSE, 3rdparty users, connecting pipeline operators.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Core Technical Experience
•Significant experience in similar roles including pipelinedesign, analysis and operational integrity assessment.
•Conversant with UK regulatory environment, e.g. PSR,Safety Case, verification etc.
•Conversant with mechanical design codes and haveability to carry out fitness for purpose calculations.
•Familiar with pigging operations
•Experience in pipeline design environment.
•Familiar with inspection team environment
•Familiar with the operation of the SAP MaintenanceManagement System.

•Educated to engineering degree level or satisfactoryequivalent e.g. HND/HNC plus NDT qualifications/experience and/or vocational certificates.
•Chartered/Incorporated/ Associated Engineer via arecognised engineering body.

•Accomplished planning and organisational skills.
•Effective communication and networking skills.
