The Company:
A Joint Venture exploration and production company in the Middle East is currently experiencing a large scale expansion. It is looking to recruit at all levels. Having been established in the 1950’s this forward thinking JV is now looking to acquire talented engineers for its facilities in the Middle East.

The Role:
A Pipeline Integrity Engineer is required on a permanent basis for our client in the middle east. You will be the lead engineer providing integrity support for static equipment inspection to ensure all process, utility and associated plants operate safely, efficiently & reliably.

Your role will be to improve inspection approaches, and deliver a better understanding of static and pipelines through a RBI approach in order to optimize the maintenance and inspection plans for static equipment and pipelines.

You will carry out corrosion related investigations of equipment failures and selection of the required repairs and quality control tests to restore equipment integrity.
Initiate pre-screening RBI exercise and final implementation to reduce and optimize turnaround, maintenance and inspection plan.

You will have responsibility for preparing the inspection programmes and executing them against budget and plan.

Facilitating Risk Based Inspection Workshops and providing the Material & Corrosion input to the development of corrosion control and inspection strategies and methodologies in line with asset maintenance reference plans

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Corrosion, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical or relate Engineering
5 years of experience in maintenance and inspection of surface facilities in the oil and gas industry with at least 3 years experience as specialist in risk based inspection and FFS

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
International certification owner user codes ( API 510, 570, 653)
Risk Based Inspection certification (API 580)
