The Company:
Fircroft are currently working with a medium sized operator based in the South East of England. The client is offering an exciting opportunity to join their Integrity & Fabric maintenance team based in one of their UK offices.

The Role:
The role is directly responsible for assisting the Senior Integrity Engineer in engineering and management of pipeline assurance processes. The role requires a detailed understanding of offshore pipeline engineering, immediate recognition of defects and anomalies, ability to engineer remedial actions as necessary. The overall role supports the specific goal of ensuring assets remain fit for purpose until the projected end of field life dates.

Key responsibilities:
-Assist and co-ordination of any external contractor for pipeline integrity management systems.
-Review and assist Senior Integrity Engineer in the continual development of risk based inspection strategies
-Manage and review the approval of external studies by external contractors

-Minimum requirement for this position is a recognised mechanical, materials or structural degree and chartered status (or working towards)
-Ideally 2 years experience from pipeline related engineering work
-Analytic eye and a pro-active hands on approach to problem solving with good interpersonal communication skills
