The Role:
Job Details
• Focuses on the daily oversight of all assigned projects.
• Must ensure quality and cost standards are met within assigned timeframes and completed efficiently, effectively, and in an ethical manner.
• Participates in pre-construction planning, including project scope, site assessments, site layout, and project details.
• Maintains continuous communication throughout projects related to progress, issues, and solutions.
• Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines.
• Receives and verifies material shipment quantity and integrity.
• Communicates and/or resolves shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager.
• Submits required project reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
• Completes purchase orders, inventory documents, and time sheets to specified detail daily and weekly.
• Performs and completes final inspection documentation.

In Planning phase:
• Direct day-to-day activities of the selected Pipeline Construction Contractor to prepare a detailed Construction Execution Plan (CEP) for two-year construction of 46 miles of remote arctic pipelines. CEP will include detailed execution of all construction activities, logistics planning, resource (people and equipment) planning, materials planning, contingency planning, and management of change.
• Deliver all Company-provided support to ensure the Contractor is ready to begin execution of the work January 15 (complete work April 25) of each construction year.

In Construction Phase:
• Oversee day-to-day work of the Contractor to implement the CEP; ensure Contractor follows the CEP, work to identify modifications to the CEP when necessary, and manage change.
• All work will be performed with a with keen focus on Safety, Environment, and Quality, in a very challenging environment, while fostering cooperation and teamwork between the Company and the Contractor.
• All construction is in a remote arctic environment, accessible year-round by air, but accessible overland (via ice road) only during the period from January 15 – April 25.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 3 – 7 years experience
• Artic Pipeline Construction experience preferred
• Experience working on the North Slope preferred
• Ability to successfully lead in a challenging, short time-frame construction window in arctic environment
