The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
•To supervise and control the Pipeline Construction Contractors, their sub-contractors and extended supply chain in all QA/QC and Inspection activities, in order to ensure that the pipeline system is constructed in compliance with the company specifications, agreed external specifications, approved procedures and drawings, etc.
•Demonstrate personal commitment to the company Policy, maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company standards, actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
•The HSE expectations of all individuals on the Laggan-Tormore project are extremely high. The Project Management Team shall do everything in their power to provide you with a safe working environment, but it is absolutely imperative that each individual understands that they have a clear duty to intervene in any situation deemed unsafe (of which has the possibility of becoming unsafe) in order to protect themselves, their colleagues or property.
•Non-compliance with Company Rules and Project HSE objectives shall be reason for dismissal.
•Activities
•Assist the Pipeline Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with agreed standards and specifications;.
•To maintain good relationships with Contractors, whilst ensuring the necessary controls are in place to achieve the objectives of the Project;
•Report activities which may have a detrimental effect on schedule and cost to Pipeline Contract managers;
•To liaise with Other disciplines, Safety, Cost, Planning and Administration sections to improve effectiveness of the Team
•Keep the Pipelines Quality Engineer and Contract Managers informed of all events which may affect the successful completion of the project goals.
Discipline Specific
•Act as primary QA / QC / Inspection Representative with main contrctors ensuring that Construction Contractor is fully conversant and compliant with all Company project QA / QC / Inspection related standards and procedures.
•Supervise the ad-hoc inspectors employed via the inspection services contract to ensure they are performing to the required standards;
•Review/comment on contractors quality plans, ITP’s and related documentation within Doc.UK;
•Attend K.O.M and PPM’s on behalf of COMPANY Quality Department;
•Ensure correct inspection manpower levels are maintained;
•Manage the following Site QA / QC / Inspection interfaces and ensure that Company / Project standards and procedures are fully aligned:
oCompany & Construction Contractor
oConstruction Contractor / Sub-contractors
oQA / QC / Inspection Vendor representatives & construction site personnel
•Advise the Construction Site Reps and other Discipline Superintendents on all aspects of QA / QC / Inspection Management and ensure that interfaces with other disciplines are managed effectively.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Relevant international project construction experience
•Recognized level of expertise in construction discipline with a good knowledge of Company E&P general specifications.
•Significant responsibility in multi-discipline teams or projects.
•Fluent spoken and written English.
•Valid medical Certificate which complies with Company Standards
