The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. Our Client has operations in over 130 countries and has more than 95,000 employees worldwide.

The Role:
• Assisting contracts engineers in monitoring the occupational and operational scope pipelines construction safety.
• Reviewing pipeline contracts and completing the occupational/operational safety evaluation of progress of the same.
• Carrying out audits of pipe mills, fabrication yards, vessels, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Providing cover for the pipelines.
• Coordinating the compilation of safety statistics for the pipelines element of the project.
• Monitoring the quality of accident and incident reports from our Client and Contractor personnel on the pipelines scope and ensuring that these are to the required standard.
• Ensuring close out of recommendations from audits and incident reports.
• Participate in Safety Meetings and preparing Minutes for approval.
• Review Risk Assessments and method statements via our Client's online document management system.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experienced Safety Professional
• Experience of pipeline construction both on and offshore
• Experience of Offshore / Subsea Construction
• Experience of Oil and Gas related fabrication
• Experience of CDM regulations
• Experience of preparing and analysing incident reports and safety statistics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Current full driving licence
• Flexibility regarding work location and extensive travel.
• Current Offshore Medical
