An Oil and Gas EPC
Plans, assigns and schedules work and is responsible for the progress and quality of deliverables
Follows company procedures and established standards to prepare engineering deliverables from rough sketches, to the highest quality and standards.
As the Lead, plans, budgets, organizes, coordinates and controls the project and is responsible for employee performance evaluation and for coaching and developing lower level professionals.
Utilizes skills in developing graphics using CAE design.
Responsible for maintaining the standard of drawings produced.
Undertakes approval of design deliverables.
Develops and recommends improvements in design standards to lower cost and to improve work quality and facilitate maintenance.
Investigates and resolves unusual design and field engineering problems by devising new approaches or applying existing criteria in novel ways.
Preparation and co-ordination of Piping Engineering Design deliverables.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
20+ years of experience in heavy industrial projects; Oil/Gas/Petrochemical in particular.
Proficient in AutoCAD / MicroStation packages for design and drafting.
Proficient in SmartPlant 3D and Smart Sketch, PDS and Frameworks Plus.
Familiar with PDMS package.
Hands-on Experience in generating 3D and 2D drawings.
Experienced in working with other disciplines in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, understanding their interface requirements. Liaise and interact with Structural/Layout groups daily.
Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steelwork GA’s and Detailing.
Experience of working on large scale oil/gas projects is required; LNG Projects is a must.
Must be able to work to an agreed scope, budget and schedule.
Extensive experience of pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design projects, EPC is required.
Familiar with PIP Specifications.
