The Company:
Our Client is an international energy service company with £5bn sales, employing more than 29,000 people worldwide and operating in 50 countries.
The group consists of 3 divisions being Engineering and Production Facilities, Well Support and Gas Turbine Services.
Our Client is an international leader in both marginal field developments, in life-of-field engineering and in production support.

The Role:
Main Duties:
o Execute design and draughting activities (Concept, FEED, Technical Study & Detailed Design).
o Prepare Plant Layout and Piping drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with minimum input from engineering personnel.
o Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process.
o Ensure that designs comply with the relevant Standards and procedures.
o Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required.
o Ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
o Keep up-to-date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline scope.

Visit the Assets and carry out site surveys when necessary onshore & offshore.
Assist the Piping Discipline Engineers and others when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties.
Be familiar with the company HSE Operating System and Policy.
Willingness to go offshore for site surveys
Carry out site / measurement survey offshore.
Well conversant with drafting tools such as Microstation and Autocad.
Familiarity with PDMS is preferred.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education & Qualifications:
ONC/OND qualified
Current valid RGIT & Medical certificates.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Commitment to core values.
Microstation & Auto CAD experience.

Fully conversant with UK regulatory environment, and standard offshore international and national industry standards and specifications.
Must have offshore experience
Previous PDMS experience.
Experience in a Designer position.
Well conversant with drafting tools such as Microstation and Autocad

Personal Skills:
Good communication, networking, collaboration and well developed team-working skills.
