The Role:
Candidate will have a strong focus on delivering work quality and will enjoy working independently as well as being part of a team.

In addition, the right candidiate will be responsible for Provision of day to day piping engineering support to the offshore installations.
Contribute to the technical design intergrity of topsides piping facilities.
Provide timely piping engineering support and troubleshooting assistance to other MONS departments, including giving input to project concepts and engineering review of piping designs.
Follow up and trouble shoot typical piping system operational issues.
Travel offshore to participate in trouble-shooting and enhancement of the operation with the offshore crew.
Participate in Operations, Maintenance and Shut-Down Planinng.
Ensuring that the requirements of the Business Management Syaterm and adhered to and initiatives are taken to prepare issue and maintain procedures and processes when required.
Establishing and fostering good relations with onshore and offshore staff as well as external parties such as relevant Authorities and sub-contractors.
Participate actively on audits and in equipment failure investigations.
Liaison with subcontractors, response to technical queries, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive relevant experience with significant Operational Engineering or Operational Suppoert role will be preferable.
Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines such as instrument and control, mechcnical and electrical.
Good understanding of offshore operations.
Knowledge of generic engineering, assiciated technical standards, processes and relevant legislation.
Familiar with UK industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industry and of dealing with HSE, DECC and industry workgroups.
In depth knowledge of piping codes and standards.
Working Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive.
Broad understanding of piping materials, piping design and layout, piping fabrication and inspection.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant Engineering Degree within Discipline (preferred but may consider non-degree qualified personnel subject to experience)
Preferable Chartered Engineer.
Experience of ageing assets.
Contract management experience and advantage.
Knowledge of SAP.
Pressure vessel experience preferred but not a pre-requisite for the role.
