The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
A newly created role has arisen for a Piping Engineer to work at the Curtis Island site, near Gladstone. This role will require the incumbent to coordinate and resolve piping related issues. This includes providing engineering, installation and commissioning support across the area.

Working for the CSG-LNG Project Owner, you will have the opportunity to work on a project at the forefront of the industry here in Australia. A competitive day rate will be provided, as well as a relocation package if necessary.

You will be responsible for:
• Technical support to project requirements during construction and commissioning phases
• Resolving and responding to QA reports relating to piping and project engineering matters
• Maintaining piping procedures, manuals, standards and specifications
• Liaising between Houston, Thailand and Curtis Island teams regarding discipline engineering requirements
• Interfacing between the installation teams in all locations to support the work scope on Curtis Island

The incumbent must be willing to take up domestic travel and have a strong commitment to HSSE. You will be required to live and work in Gladstone, with full relocation packages available.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline
• Experience of piping design, analysis, fabrication and construction - this includes cryogenic pipework
• History working in similar roles using:
- Piping Test Packs
- Hydrostatic, Pneumatic and Leak Testing
- Piping Flange Management
- Cryogenic piping installation
- P&ID compliance walkdown
- Permit to Work (PTW) systems
• Experience of High Pressure / Hydrocarbon Systems
• A strong understanding of multi-discipline engineering, construction activities and project development
