The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
A new position has arisen for a Piping Engineer based in Perth initially (until April 2015) and then mobilising offshore on a 14/14 rotation (12 hr days).

As an integral team member of the operator team, the piping engineer will provide specific discipline input into the Upstream Hook Up and Commissioning (HUC) contract.

The role will involve the following responsibilities:
• Support the HUC Co-ordinator to ensure that the WP hook-up piping work is completed and achieves required Basis of Design outcomes.
• Remains with HUC team until RFSU (Ready for Start Up).
• Act as company responsible Engineer for completion of all piping associated work for the HUC phase.
• Drive completion of all remaining piping items due to incomplete fabrication scope.
• Drive the completion of the HUC piping discipline scope and system completion from contractor
• Review all piping hydrotest and leak test packs for technical accuracy and ensure the contractor executes the testing safely and per the test procedure
• Provide company discipline commissioning oversight of N2He leak testing as required.
• Assist the ISUT by facilitating seamless transition from HUC, to hydrocarbon commissioning through to Start-up and Performance testing activities.
• To actively assist in the smooth handover of the WP systems completion to Phase 5 Operations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10+ years,– piping engineering/construction offshore, onshore, or in fabrication yard

Education: Engineering or technical degree
Preferred Skills/ personnel attributes: Good written and oral communication, attention to detail, Ability to drive Offshore HUC contractor to perform

Training/Certifications (required to perform role): Completions Management Systems (CMS)
