The Company:
The Engineer - Piping / Mechanical Specialist - will be responsible to provide technical input for all technical aspects of the onshore marine terminal site preparation works - working collaboratively with other members of the Project

Position will be based in Novorossiysk, Russia Federation. Some travel to other locations is required.

The Role:
The site scope calls for construction of:

Process and Utility pipelines fabrication and installation
Utility piping inside the building and buster pump station
Pipeline and piping hydrotesting
Installation of Fire water buster pumps

Key functions include:

Experience with design and review of piping systems in accordance with the RF and International Codes and Standards.
Provide piping and mechanical engineering technical support to Field engineering team and Construction team in all piping and mechanical construction activities. Provide technical oversight of geotechnical inspection services and contracts.
Design review and prepared engineering comments on detail design documents issued by design institute and construction contractor’s: plans, drawings, specifications, and cost/schedule estimates. Lead design reviews, risk assessments
Timely delivered piping/mechanical engineering design field requests. Support Field engineering group with the RFI (request for information) identified by Project engineer and/or Lead Field Engineer.
Ensure piping/mechanical design compliant with project strategies with project planning, environmental risk, safety and quality.
Support contract group with all requests pertaining to the suppliers approval and scope of supply
Advise on procurement, manufacture, assembly, construction techniques, and sequencing of works as appropriate.
Verify contractors site work is in compliance with design documentation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

Min ten (10) years previous piping and mechanical design and construction experience.
Good knowledge of the regulatory and technical discipline Norms and Standards of the Russian Federation (GOST, SNIP, VSN, PB, etc.)
Basic knowledge of the International Codes and specification as ASME, API, ASTM, etc. Experience in the design / construction of tank farm, pump and compressor stations and oil refinery / gas processing plant piping.
Understanding of piping stress analysis principal and calculation
Knowledge of the equipment related to pipelines (ie, pump stations, measuring equipment and terminals.
Knowledge of various pipeline coatings, and methods for the manufacture of pipes
Must have a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interface with colleagues at all levels

English language oral and written is mandatory
Computer skills: AutoCAD a plus, MS Office Word and Excel
