The Role:
To lead and coordinate the PVV and layout studies of the project.
Call for, participate to and/or organise all the necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work.
To supervise LNG plant FEED design of relevant discipline and provide assistance/support to pre-commissioning and commissioning teams and the PVV field engineering.
To ensure PLANT PVV and layout design consistency, optimization, operability and flexibility which implies interfaces management and leadership towards other packages (in particular for PLANT layout), such as wellpads and marine port.
To ensure that the PLANT FEED design for PVV et layout complies with S.O.R., contract documentation, schedule, budget and safety practices.
To avoid LNG plant FEED design contractor stand-by/delays by prompt response to engineering queries and request for waiver (if any) and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proefficient approach.

To monitor and highlight the interfaces within the LNG plant FEED packages (in particular for layout and with all engineering disciplines) and with the other packages of the PLANT in relation to this discipline.
To participate in technical reviews during the FEED design execution: to provide support and expertise and contribution with regards to this discipline.
Participate to the Project HAZOP and PTR,
To ensure proper reporting, highlighting critical issues to the Engineering Management and proposing remedial actions.
To contribute to improving the project lessons learnt and personnel skills.
To contribute to the advancement of working methods and tools within his speciality.
To advise the Engineering Management on solutions to this discipline.
Ensure that the design of installations meets the requirements of the project specifications, Safety Concept, S.O.R and other related documents.
Guarantee the quality of PVV and layout related studies and associated deliverables. Monitor and coordinate the LNG plant FEED Contractor and guide the design of the installations by close participation in the design activities, review and comment on the corresponding FEED deliverables.
Follow up, control and comment all equipment/packages handling-maintenance documentation in close collaboration with the mechanical/rotating equipment, operations and maintenance specialists.
Provide assistance to the Engineering Management and Area Project Engineering for the preparation of the subcontracts for Long Lead Items (when applicable).
Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, monitor and promote cost saving solutions in the design. Promote alternatives design to optimize works and schedule.
Report to Engineering Management on progress of his activity and on changes to basis for design, as early as possible, when anticipated, anticipate problems in his disciplines and inform Engineering Management.
Ensure that the PVV and layout related engineering activities are performed in order to execute project as per Company know-how, with required level of quality, safety and with respect of environment, within the agreed time schedule and cost.
Participate to the critical equipment (in particular the valves) factory inspections.

Project location in harsh environment with arctic conditions.

Responsible to ensure that the PVV and layout engineering is performed in full compliance with Company requirements and in line with project targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Chartered with proven experience with large onshore plants and LNG plants layout, piping design, pressure vessels and static equipment. Experience of the same for LNG plants located in harsh environment with arctic conditions.
Professional experience: 15 years proven experience of LNG projects, large onshore projects and arctic conditions.
Good teamwork, strong minded.
Fluent in English.
