The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
Experienced in the Offshore Oil & Gas Construction Industry (Topside, Structures, Floating Production and Jacket Structures)

Supervision and the day to day running of the Piping Drawing Office.

Duties will include:-

Planning and distribution of work to draughtsmen in accordance with the fabrication programme including progress monitoring, forecasting and reporting.
Implementation of specifications, and working standards as required by the client and design contractor.
Conversant in the use of company and client draughting standards, specifications and company / project drawing office procedures.
Liaison with clients, subcontractors and the workforce in resolving technical queries.
Ensuring that fabrication drawings are issued in accordance with fabrication programmes.
Estimating man-hours for draughting work scopes.
Experience will have included working as a Pipling Leadin Hand/Checker/Detail Draughtsman with a sound technical background and a strong knowledge of manual and CAD draughting techniques in the production of Piping arrangements and details fabrication isometrics, material lists etc.,
Conversant with quality assurance requirements applicable to the draughting function.
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel and documents management systems.
Capable of developing a co-operative team based culture for groups under his/her control
