The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project. To work on a Residential or Single Status. Perfect French fluency mandatory & English (spoken & written)

The Role:
To follow up and supervise the piping discipline studies to be carried out for the ALIMA FPU modifications during the different phases of the project up to and beyond project sanction (basic engineering, detailed design / procurement / construction / installation).
• To ensure discipline engineering will be made towards objectives of maintaining weight and preparing safe and optimised integration and hook-up to ALIMA FPU.
• To follow up piping design (piping routing, piping supports, stress analysis, implementation of the company's piping classes).To ensure discipline engineering will be made towards objectives of maintaining weight and preparing safe and optimised integration and hook-up to ALIMA FPU.
• To participate to tender preparation, clarification, analysis and recommendation.
• To monitor and manage the contractor’s piping team during the detail design phase and the construction/start-up phas
To define, follow up and evaluate the piping discipline studies to be carried out.
• To promote alternatives for piping design to reduce weight and to optimise onshore and offshore works.
• To monitor piping discipline studies during engineering (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting).
• To ensure interface within engineering team, with other packages (SPS, UFR) and with Operations.
• To supervise and promote cost-saving solutions in the design of the FPU integration, clearly identifying potential deviations from the company referential and reporting these to the Topsides Leader for final decision on whether or not to implement.
• To supervise specialists for analysis and approval of technical documents prepared by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in order to ensure compliance with all technical requirements affecting the discipline.
• To contribute to constructability studies in order to prepare and optimise integration and hook-up works.
• To organise assistance from the client corporate organisation or from external specialists as necessary.
• To actively participate in meetings with the company's project personnel, co-venturers and client representatives.
• To organise and participate in the technical reviews.
• To supervise specialists for follow-up in manufacturing, acceptance, installation and start-up of equipment.
• To attend the factory tests of the PVV equipment.
• To attend pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities as required.
• To participate in the contractor’s weekly meetings.
• To ensure detailed progress reporting to project management.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineer with minimum 5 years experience of oil and gas plant and engineering process and knowledge of offshore integration and hook-up works.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with various disciplines.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
