The Role:
We are considering positions as follows:
• Based in Singapore working in the offices/fabrication facilities of our Subsea Equipment Vendor. Strong desire for subsea equipment experience and fabrication yard experience. Start date of Nov/Dec 2012.
• Based in Jakarta at start, then working at the offices/fabrication facilities of our Floating Production Unit contractor. Strong desire for experience working with EPCI contractors. Start date of Nov (maybe Dec) 2012.
Qualifications Role
• Minimum 15 years experience out of which 10 years in Planning/Schedule Control of major capital projects (above USD 1 billion) in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably in offshore projects
• Understand onshore/offshore fabrication production scheduling and process
• Working abroad with multinational/culture environment will be an advantage
• Advanced skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
• Able to developed project schedule, progress measurement system, progress update/report, identify & review critical path of the project schedule, contract administration, maintain work interface, project milestone & schedule risk to ensure they are in project schedule.
• Good teamwork and communication skills with high initiative
• Willing to work outside of big cities and/or in any fabrication yard around the globe
• Independently develop detailed (Level 5) Project Schedule with Primavera P6 after collecting the data of tasks, durations, relations / links from team members.
• Consolidate schedules from EPCI contractors, its subcontractor(s) and vendor(s) into a unified, consistent, detailed schedule
• Ensure that all schedules are fully and properly documented as per the Work Breakdown Structure
• Guide and advise the schedulers of EPCI Contractor Team
• Identify critical path and critical tasks in the schedule and continuously monitor the critical tasks.
• Resource-load schedule and monitor man-hours spent on project by each discipline / Contractor / Sub-contractor.
• Update schedule weekly by interacting with Project team members and Contractors, recording progress % of each task.
• Compare the Baseline with actual progress achieved.
• Generate Progress S curves Planned, Actual and Forecast.
• Progress report preparation highlighting the problem areas and suggesting mitigation measures.
• Verify the progress % claims made by contractors.
• Work with project team, contractor(s), supplier(s), vendor(s) to resolve issue related to project schedule
• Advise Project Leadership Team on schedule recovery and risk mitigation
• Verify and document any schedule change
