The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.

As a result of continued growth and project progression they are currently looking to recruit Planner's on a permanent basis at both their Cumbria and Harwell offices

The Role:
The Planner is the organiser of the project or projects.

Setting out, monitoring, maintaining and updates to the project plan/programme in coordination with all stakeholders of the project is required from the Planner

The Planner will be expected to provide information to the Project Management and Design Management teams on project progress to both critical path and project milestones.

It is the responsibility of the Planner to work closely with the Projects Services team in monitoring programme KPI's e.g. Earned Value.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates must be educated to a minimum of HNC level or have the equivalent in terms of work experience.

Candidates will have a background in nuclear planning or in a similar industry and previous experience of using the Primavera/P3e planning software.

Experience of working within a project delivery environment is essential for the Planning Engineer as is full knowledge of the Project Lifecycle.

Candidates will have experience of leading and mentoring planning teams. PC literate in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Technical/Engineering or Project Management discipline.
Knowledge of P3e will be a distinct advantage.
SC or DV level of security clearance is preferred.
