The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Project Description
Design and construction of a new sanitary wastewater treatment facility, to treat ~6,000 m³/day and water recycling facility. Scope includes the treatment plant, lift stations and transport pipelines, new evaporation ponds, remediation of old evaporation ponds and recycling. Project budget is ~US$180 million. The design and construction of a Water Recycling Plant aims at treating ("polishing") effluent from WTF to "technical water" standards. With implementation of the WRF Project the number of ponds required for WTF will be decreased by half. WRF would provide an additional technical water source through the reuse of WTF effluent.

Job Description
•Champion an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture on the project.
•Develop and maintain overall project schedule. Assist contractors to develop and maintain project schedules for their individual project scopes.
•Facilitate WTF Project-Team planning meetings. Facilitate contractor planning meetings.
•Work with Construction Reps, Cost Controllers and Materials Coordinators to develop and use a standard methodology to determine line-item percent complete and overall percent complete. update and report monthly to verify % complete for invoice purposes and to report % complete vs plan for general progress reports.
•Analyse project team and contractor progress to identify gaps and suggest ways to improve schedule if needed.
•Evaluate job packs to assure work plan is aligned with overall schedule.
•Assist contractor to perform according to schedule. Ensure contractor has adequate human resources, that they are on-site. Assist with staffing plans when necessary.
•Participate in development/execution of project team deliverables.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in construction planning. Must possess an advanced working knowledge of Primavera planning tool software. Candidate will be expected to work with local contractors and to mentor national staff.
