The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a Planner to work undertake detailed scheduling activities for the pipeline project.

• Work on a major LNG project in Queensland
• FIFO to Gladstone (28/9 roster)
• Long term contract role (12 to 24 months)

The Planner will ensure that detailed schedules are produced by the project owner and contractor and that they comply with reporting requirements. You will also verify contractor reporting data on a weekly and monthly basis.

The incumbent will oversee scheduling issues at site and report directly to the Project Manager. This scope of work covers developing individual schedules, including activities and milestones, dependency logic and sequencing.

• Present schedule updates and information, whilst advising on the status of the project
• Liaise with the Planning team and Project / Construction Managers to identify variations in the schedule
• Review and confirm the contractor's responsibilities and reporting requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or equivalent years experience
• Knowledge and experience using Primavera P6
• Experience working on upstream Oil & Gas field development projects
• Understanding of Critical Path scheduling development
