The Company:
our client are leaders within the renewable industry and are looking to recruit logistic planners.

The Role:
Job Purpose

Working as part of a regional team to produce efficient, reliable and cost effective service schedules to meet contractual obligation and customer needs to reach set targets.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Analyse requirements and plan service and other plannable schedules
• Allocate and direct resources and unplanned schedules
• Ensure work orders have been set up for incoming jobs
• Ensure effective communication of planned activity both internally
• Prioritises open work orders within defined company rules and guidelines
• Creates comprehensive weekly work package of prepared work orders for each team
• Escalate issues regarding possible overload and shortage of work to the supervisor and/ or regional manager as appreciate, making recommendations to make effective use of resources.
• Check material availability, ordering additional supplied as required, to ensure all materials are available when required
• Ensure communication of unplanned service and repair needs to teams
• Ensure all completed work orders contain all necessary documentation

Career / Job Experience

Strong experience of workload planning, ideally gained in a technical services or Logistics related service environment.

Job profile

• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Numerate, able to analyse numerical data and identify trends
• Systematic approach with good analytical and problem solving skills
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication
• Competent with MS office and SAP system
• Remain calm under pressure.
