The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
• Develop, update and maintain reporting documentation by coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure successful execution. (i.e. Commodity Curves, PF Report, Skyline ETC.)
• Duties include detailed analysis of manhours extracted from Systems Completions Database (Orbit) and input to Primavera P6.
• Load and optimize resources on schedules.
• Develop and implement processes and tools for schedule quality check and validation.
• Develop and implement progress systems for completions and commissioning.
• Conduct schedule review meetings and update schedules live in Primavera.
• Develop and publish schedule, progress and manpower reports.
• Develop project specific procedures and work instructions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in large scale construction projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Diploma/Certificate in Engineering or industry related subject.
• Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required
• Proficient with Primavera .
• Proficient in the use of MS office suite, particularly Excel and Access.
• Experience in the Commissioning phase of a project.
• Kearl experience would be an asset.
