The Company:
A Major Operator

The Role:
Liaise with SPAs from Exploration teams (Access, Exploration, Resource Appraisal), in order to:
Develop their work plans and update these as work progresses
Support the team to ensure work plans are both transparent and accurate
Populate, update and quality assure schedules & resource assignments in Primavera
Generate various reports, plan documents and schedules from Primavera
Capture and help resolve any scheduling or resourcing clashes between teams
Maintain a Primavera database containing all of the Exploration functional team’s activities
Support the function in developing work plans, schedules, Plan Changes and decisions re: schedule changes
Progress functional activities on a regular basis and ensure that the Primavera database is up to date
Facilitate views for specific Exploration Function Activities such as: drilling wells and seismic acquisition projects.
Provide reports and views of exploration activities and people resourcing into Primavera
Generate various integrated views of the Exploration work program and schedule, in order to facilitate planning and integration of Exploration activities.
Facilitating discussions on Exploration resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Participate in and contribute to the development of standard planning and prioritization process for the Exploration Function.
Apply standard Primavera processes that are consistent across the function
Ensure that planning of work takes place in compliance with Exploration Planning practices
Recommend structural / coding changes to the Primavera tool in order to drive continuous improvement in the Prioritization and Planning process
Promote collaborative information sharing with team members and the wider function.
Works with the P&P team on other priority activities as directed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
5 years experience in planning, scheduling and resource allocation
Oil and Gas Industry experience preferred, but not essential
Experience with Primavera, activity planning, operations, and scheduling
Specific experience with resource loading plans and projecting resource demand
Demonstrated ability to take strategic ideas and turn them into deliverable tactical plans
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Understanding of current schedule best practices and usage of Primavera P6

Excellent teamwork skills, including the ability to work to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interest of the program.
