The Company:
Our Client is an established and innovative service provider to the Utilities sector.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the planning of all network improvement schemes on the Essex Water contract.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Receipt of work/ Enabling drawing & schedule from the Client
2. Walk/measure the job to ensure validity of drawing and view the whole work area
3. Create Construction drawing using Autocad system
4. Plan for trial holes and trial response to determine best job technique.
5. Planning & provision of traffic management.
6. Liaise with Project manager to obtain job approval.
7. Liaise with Planning Manager to agree order of work.
8. Liaise with QS re job costings.
9. Liaise with customers, businesses – organise letter drop.
10. Noticing to Local Authorities
11. Arranging valve schedule meetings – send valve schedule to Client.
12. Create “As laid” drawings.
13. Create “Snagging” drawings – liaise with Reinstatement team.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of water network operations
• EUS Water SHEA (Safety ‘Passport’)
• EUS National Water Hygiene registration
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Excellent organisational/planning skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills
