The Company:
A professional, construction, support and infrastructure services provider working in various market sectors all over the world.

The Role:
Key Duties:
• Set up Primavera P6 project programmes in-line with client programme and reporting requirements.
• Work within business controls for server operated P6 system database
• Develop and maintain resource and cost loaded programmes.
• Produce programme updates, project status, schedule performance, cost profiles/performance, resource allocation and KPI reports, including forecast of cost, output and KPI performance.
• Working with the agreed Work Break down Structure, agree particular formats for project programmes with Construction Managers and Operations Managers
• Arrange monthly programme submissions to client in-line with contract.
• Cost & resource load programmes in line with contract requirements
• Run earned value analysis.
• Develop project/programme control processes to fit with client/Sub contractor requirements, briefing these out to key stakeholders.
• Perform regular data and baseline integrity checks.
• Perform capacity planning and resource levelling.
• Work and interact with commercial team to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
• Consult with Project Delivery Managers and Project Managers for information outside of the construction gateways
• Negotiation with local authority/ site managers and company construction personnel on timing of work/planning etc
• Ensure effective and efficient workload for operators and is in accordance with Company Safety Rules, Health and Safety legislation and Environmental standards. Particularly the CDM regulations where applicable
• Asses the impact of any one work request against other concurrent requests and allocate the resources as necessary to achieve optimum results and negotiate the release of these resources where necessary
• Produce reports (Daily/weekly/monthly) on the status of works in a structured manner, and in particular, drawing attention to any deviations from the original outline
• Ensure Operational teams have fully scheduled work, which is planned and organised to obtain the best possible efficiencies e.g. reduction in overtime and mileage
• Generate effective team working relationships with field based staff plus their managers and supervisors
• Ensure customer incidents/maintenance activities are effectively scheduled to meet all key performance indicators and service level agreements
• Assist in the implementation of any required process, system or behavioural change

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Training in and operating experience of Primavera P6, ideally v8
• Experience of working within in the construction industry, preferably Water / Utilities
• Experience of working with NEC form of contract
• Live within 60 miles of Warrington
• Excellent IT skills (particularly with Microsoft applications – Word/Excel)
• Excellent levels of communication
• Ability to obtain information on programme from construction site personnel
• Communicate the importance of reliable planning to all
• Able to manage time effectively and work to reporting schedule
